Video games have come a long way. The video game of today is like that of a
"flight simulator" - a fully functional, complex, elaborate, 3-dimensional creation
of those who can program such games - those who possess the knowledge of the complex
mathematics that make the graphics of such games possible. The video game of several
decades ago, however, was not the "flight simulator" type of game: games were "flat" -
2-dimensional. The programming of such games was much simpler. These were games, you
see, that did not require a full "team" of participants to be assembled. Amongst the
vast array of "3-dimensional" games that dominate the market now, there are also
released small, packaged "libraries" of these smaller, older games, to be sold and
enjoyed. This part of the Web site - the one you are currently following and reading -
is the section of the site devoted to the construction and distribution of such a game -
my own "2-dimensional" video game: Arena of Doom.
