What is the fourth dimension? Indeed the fourth dimension is a topic of mystery. It has for a very long time, however, been a heavily investigated phenomenon, both physically and mathematically.
To approach the fourth dimension mathematically means to deal with numbers and variables. It is very easy to approach the fourth dimension this way, for one in reality is dealing only with calculations and formulas.
To confront the spatial aspect of the fourth dimension, however, can be a much greater challenge: it is to deal with the true nature of the fourth dimension. What truths, then, have been discovered in this area? What, put simply, is the true nature of the fourth dimension?
Many will claim that the fourth dimension is complex. And I believe that it can be. But what of the most fundamental, most basic aspects of the fourth dimension? Are they complex? That is, though the fourth dimension can be complex, does that mean that its foundational building blocks necessarily are? This is the question that Thinking 4-D asks.
